Chooc Ly Tan

Chooc Ly Tan’s work conveys a dreamy and poetic notion, touching on the artist’s belief in the possibility of transcending natural forces. She defies gravity: verticality becomes nonsense and a pleasurable experience. Her work is an invitation to contemplate natural phenomena, simultaneously admiring and disobeying them. Since she has relocated to Iceland she allows us access to more abstract spatial entities, she questions the unknown and explores nothingness.
