Gabor Gyory
Gabor Gyory finds inspiration in what he calls “charged spaces” of Imperial Britain, public and private monuments alien to their surroundings, designed and imposed upon their respective locations with a clear function and rationale within which to operate. He explores the significance of such spaces, of their design and how they have informed the people inhabiting them. He creates his delicately degraded paintings as punctuation, commenting on the relationship between men and buildings.
